Workplace

The Digital Health & Wellbeing Center is one of the Centers of the Bruno Kessler Foundation (FBK). The activities of the Center for Digital Health & Wellbeing mainly concern scientific research of excellence in the field of Computer Science and AI techniques and methodologies for health and healthcare, as well as social and technological innovation for a relevant impact on both the local community and nationally and internationally.
The Digital Health Research Group (DHRes) aims to push the boundaries of the state of the art in digital health technologies, while fostering innovation in our region through the TrentinoSalute4.0 program and positioning its research at national and European levels to advance the digital therapies of the future. The DHRes group is interested in investigating how technologies impact healthcare management, how they are adopted by healthcare practitioners, the changes they introduce into clinical workflows, and the level of acceptance and satisfaction among practitioners, patients, informal caregivers, and family members.
Through pilot and demonstration projects, DHRes examines the short- to medium-term effects of its interventions in real healthcare settings at local and national levels (through TrentinoSalute4.0), as well as at the European level through international collaborations in EU-funded projects. In addition, the group promotes the transfer of its solutions to the market through collaborations with industry and the creation of start-ups (e.g., MEEVA, operating in the field of virtual reality for neurodevelopmental disorder therapy).

FBK actively seeks diversity and inclusion in the workplace and is also committed to promoting gender equality. To promote the inclusion of disabled staff as per law 68/99, the Foundation is available and interested in evaluating the applications received for technical-scientific domains that do not correspond exactly to this call.
