The Computational Human Behavior Flagship is FBK’s initiative devoted to developing quantitative approaches to support policy and decision-making processes with high societal impact, while accounting for the intervening social, cognitive and behavioral factors.
As part of the Flagship, the Complex Multilayer Networks (CoMuNe) Research Unit develops mathematical models and computational tools to account for the high level of complexity of networked systems. CoMuNe’s areas of interest include collective dynamics in complex socio-technical systems and the interplay between human mobility and information awareness.
CoMuNe counts on an extended network of national and international industrial partners, interested in the technological output of this project.
Key goals for the project range, but are not limited to, from better understanding of how fake news spread in social media, to identifying influencers and communities in socio-technological systems.
More information about the CoMuNe Lab is available at https://comunelab.fbk.eu/.
